OTherapYoga<\/a> to host puppy yoga.<\/p>\nHeather Hassenplug of PA PitStop says all the money raised supports animals in need.<\/p>\n
“It’s a donation to the rescue to basically do yoga with the puppies,” she said.<\/p>\n
Twenty puppies ran around the yoga mats, stretching and snuggling with guests.\u2002\u2002\u2002\u2002<\/p>\n
“They absolutely love, you know, just being around people,” said Hassenplug.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Not only do the people get some good out of it; the puppies get good out of it, too.<\/p>\n
“I’s so good for their development at such a young age to be around all different people instead of just us in our home,” Hassenplug said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Davaras\u00a0says it’s hard to focus on poses when puppies are running around, but it’s still the best yoga class she’s ever taken.<\/p>\n
“I would sign up every week if I could… I mean, it\u2019s puppy yoga,” Davaras said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
All twenty puppies are girls, and all are up for adoption through The Riley Rescue.<\/p>\n
“We are always in need of adopters and foster families to be able to help, even if it’s for a short period of time,” Hassenplug said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
She says she hopes events like these can help some of these puppies find their forever homes.<\/p>\n
“At the end of the day, we just want all of the puppies adopted,” Hassenplug said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
