The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced the following maintenance operations scheduled for the week of Aug. 31 for roads maintained by the department in Erie County.\u00a0<\/p>\n
A pipe replacement on Route 89 in Concord Township will result in daytime closures to through traffic and a detour will be posted. Additionally, ditching will take place in Wayne Township on Route 426.<\/p>\n
All work is weather dependent.<\/p>\n
PennDOT crews at facilities throughout District 1, which includes Crawford, Erie, Forest, Mercer, Venango and Warren counties, complete a large scope of work on more than 3,600 miles of road throughout the year to help provide an efficient transportation system.
