The Southern Lehigh school board welcomed him back to the district earlier this week.<\/p>\n<p>Cameron resigned as Allentown&#8217;s Harrison-Morton Middle School principal on the first day of school. The Allentown School District announced his sudden departure in a letter sent out to parents Monday.
