The bell features iconic trademarks of the area\u2019s railroad, mining and iron furnaces. Burke\u2019s design focuses on several area trademarks: Steamtown, PNC Field, Montage Ski Resort, the iron furnaces, railroad, the friendly downtown Scranton skyline and a coal mine breaker. The bell is mounted on a stand with a plate highlighting information about the project. It will permanently sit in front of the courthouse.
