BERKS COUNTY, Pa. – Anyone looking for a pet may want to swing by the shelters tomorrow, as it’s National “Clear the Shelters” Day.<\/p>\n
Humane Pennsylvania in Reading and the Animal Rescue League (ARL) in Cumru Township are both taking part in this national event.<\/p>\n
Humane Pennsylvania says adoption fees will be waived for dogs, cats, and critters six months and older at the Berks Adoption Center.<\/p>\n
The Berks Adoption Center is open from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for all interested adopters.<\/p>\n
