FREEMANSBURG, Pa. — Police are investigating a Friday afternoon shooting that left one person injured at a Northampton County tire store.<\/p>\n
Emergency dispatchers said the shooting occurred around 4 p.m. at the Jack Williams Tire Auto Care on Clearfield Street in Freemansburg.<\/p>\n
The victim’s condition and the severity of their injuries are unknown at this time.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Police and EMS crews remain at the scene. The road is currently closed for reconstruction as they investigate.\u00a0<\/p>\n
No suspect information or details on a possible motive have been released.<\/p>\n
We spoke with a homeowner who lives right next door and was outside when the shooting happened.<\/p>\n
“I was walking out on my deck and I heard some shots and I figured they were gunshots, like about four or five, and saw somebody running across the street,” Deanne Johnson said. “I’ve lived here since 2008. I haven’t had any experience of that, you know, since I’ve lived here. So pretty quiet here.”<\/p>\n
This is the second shooting in Freemansburg in less than a week.<\/p>\n
Police say last Saturday, one person was shot and killed and another injured during a domestic dispute.<\/p>\n
