Lyn Sequeira produced an impressive round to clinch this month\u2019s Ekurhuleni Senior Women\u2019s Golf (ESWG) competition at Reading Country Club in Alberton on August 19.<\/p>\n

Sequeira beat a strong field to claim the honours with 40 points, finishing three points clear of runner-up Lezette Vermaak, who carded 37 points.<\/p>\n

Sonja Louw finished third on 37 points, while Linda Joubert also scored 37 points to secure fourth place. Ria Joubert rounded out the top five with 36 points.<\/p>\n

Rene Matthee claimed the nearest-the-pin prize on the fifth hole, while Colleen Francis took the honours on the 15th.<\/p>\n

The ESWG president Charmaine Stone thanked the Reading ladies\u2019 section for hosting a successful event and praised the players for their performances.<\/p>\n
