\t\t\tOBITUARY\t\t<\/p>\n
John Mario Lettieri III, 63, of Archbald, died Wednesday, August 26, at home. His partner of 18 years is Marjorie Michel.<\/p>\n
\nBorn in Scranton, John was the son of the late John Mario Jr. and Ana Garcia Lettieri. A graduate of Bishop Klonowski High School, he also earned a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Duquesne University.<\/p>\n
\nAfter graduating, John opened Lettieri\u2019s Discount Pharmacy in Pittsburgh where he worked as a pharmacist for several years. He later returned to Scranton and discovered his love of finding, selling, and restoring antiques. What began with an eBay store eventually led him to become a regular vendor at the Chelsea Flea Market in New York. John developed a passion for auctioneering, eventually earning his auctioneer\u2019s license. He owned and operated Lettieri Auction & Appraisal in the Pinebrook section of Scranton.<\/p>\n
\nJohn was a lifelong learner and avid reader. He had a passion for cooking, and he loved to host his friends and loved ones. He and Marjorie shared many years of laughter and travel together, and he will be missed by his family and friends.<\/p>\n
\nAlso surviving are a son, John Mario IV and wife, Alisa, Pittsburgh; a grandson, John Mario V; a sister, Micki Patane and husband, Ron; two nephews, Gregg and Ross; a niece, Olivia; as well as many beloved cousins and friends.<\/p>\n
\nA memorial service, with opportunities to share stories and memories of John, will be held Saturday, September 12, at 11:15 a.m. at the Neil W. Regan Funeral Home Inc., 1900 Pittston Ave. Friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m.<\/p>\n
