One motorcyclist was killed and another seriously injured in a collision Saturday evening in Lower Mount Bethel Township.<\/p>\n
Chad Hess, 46, of Bangor was southbound on Route 611, which is North Delaware Drive in the township, when he lost control of his motorcycle and crossed into the northbound lane near Ott Drive, according to state police. He hit a northbound motorcycle driven by John T. Gurski, 50, of Bangor.<\/p>\n
Hess was declared dead by the Northampton County coroner\u2019s office at the scene of the crash, state police said. Gurski was taken to St. Luke\u2019s Hospital-Anderson Campus with serious injuries.<\/p>\n
State police at Belfast are investigating.
