This Sunday is SVFM\u2019s<\/a> SECOND ANNUAL SALSA FEST at the market! This event will highlight local salsa ingredients, like tomatoes and peppers, and will feature a salsa judging contest featuring recipes from some of our own market vendors. There will also be a salsa-themed raffle and FREE salsa dancing lessons by Lehigh Valley Salsa Social<\/a>.<\/p>\n The market is pleased to welcome the following vendors and each of their unique salsa recipes for you to taste and then cast your vote for the winning recipe!<\/p>\n Bechdolt Orchard<\/a><\/p>\n Bon Petit Marche<\/a><\/p>\n Epic Acre Farm<\/a><\/p>\n Customers can gain entrance to the Tasting Tent by either purchasing a $5 tasting ticket or bringing a donation to Hellertown-Lower Saucon Blessing Boxes<\/a>. Any donation item from this list<\/a> will be accepted, but organizers are specifically looking for the following items to be donated and will have a collection box outside the tasting tent:<\/p>\n cereal<\/p>\n pouch tuna or other such proteins<\/p>\n toilet paper<\/p>\n paper towels<\/p>\n boxed milk<\/p>\n any snack items (salty and sweet)<\/p>\n gift cards to Giant, Dollar General and Dollar Tree<\/p>\n Tickets will be available to purchase at the Info Tent. Winners will be drawn at noon and notified immediately thereafter.<\/p>\n **All Proceeds from this event will go to Hellertown-Lower Saucon Blessing Boxes**<\/p>\n Subscribe to Saucon Valley Farmers Market\u2019s emails to find out about other upcoming events as well as the weekly vendor lineup. The producer-only market hosts dozens of local vendors and is held Sundays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. from early May through late November next to the Hellertown Area Library, 409 Constitution Ave., Hellertown, PA 18055.
