At least four people were injured overnight, officials said, when the driver of a van plowed into a police cruiser and continued on into three other vehicles along Girard Avenue in Philly’s Brewerytown section early Monday. <\/p>\n
According to police, the incident happened at about 2:30 a.m. when the driver of a black Mercedes van driving along Girard Avenue struck a police vehicle at the intersection at 28th Street.<\/p>\n
In the course of the crash, officials said, the van struck “multiple vehicles” causing injuries to four people. <\/p>\n
However, officials said these individuals all suffered minor injures. <\/p>\n
Police did not immediately say if an officer was among those injured in this crash. <\/p>\n
Officials also did not immediately say if the driver involved in this crash was arrested or could face changes in this incident. <\/p>\n
