A man has been hospitalized after officers responding to a North Philly crash found him behind the wheel of a vehicle after being shot in the jaw, police said.<\/p>\n
According to police, first responders to a crash reported along the 600 block of West Montgomery Avenue in North Philadelphia around 2:11 a.m. on Monday found a 24-year-old man in the driver’s seat of a gray 2018 Honda Civic that was sitting in the roadway.<\/p>\n
Police said the victim had been shot in the the jaw. <\/p>\n
The man, police said, was taken to a nearby hospital where he was listed in critical condition. <\/p>\n
Investigators are still working to determine the motive in this incident and police did not make any arrests or immediately provide any details on any potential suspects in this shooting. <\/p>\n
But, police said, an investigation is ongoing.<\/p>\n
