Four members of The University of Scranton\u2019s Ph.D. in Accounting program recently earned prestigious honors from leading academic and professional organizations.<\/p>\n
Jacob Crowley\u202fand\u202fGeoffrey Plourde\u202fare among 25 accounting educators and researchers in the country\u202fchosen as\u202f2026\u00a0Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (AICPA)\u00a0Foundation Accounting Doctoral Fellows.\u202fCrowley received the honor for the second consecutive year.\u202fNing Zhou\u202fis the first recipient of the Dana G. Kilgore Endowed Professorship in Accounting awarded by the\u202fUniversity of Virginia\u2019s College at Wise.\u202fThe appointee\u202fserves as a teacher and adviser and helps enhance the college\u2019s accounting curriculum.Heather Hull\u202fis a recipient of the 2026 Educational Foundation for Women in Accounting\u202f(EFWA) Laurels Fund Scholarship, which supports women pursuing advanced degrees in accounting and aspiring to careers in accounting education.<\/p>\n
