{"id":2759,"date":"2025-10-15T23:30:09","date_gmt":"2025-10-15T23:30:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/2759\/"},"modified":"2025-10-15T23:30:09","modified_gmt":"2025-10-15T23:30:09","slug":"duryea-police-investigating-hit-and-run-crash","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/2759\/","title":{"rendered":"Duryea Police investigating hit-and-run crash"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Duryea Police Department is investigating a hit-and-run motor vehicle accident that occurred shortly after midnight on Oct. 9 in the area of Evans Street and Mead Street.<\/p>\n<p>Police said a\u00a0white pickup truck towing a car carrier trailer loaded with two vehicles struck a parked car on Evans Street causing minor damage to a vehicle and fled the scene.<\/p>\n<p>The fleeing vehicle continued onto Cherry Street where it struck a telephone pole.
