U. SAUCON TWP., Pa. – Huntington’s disease is a genetic mutation that breaks down nerve cells in the brain leading to cognitive decline.<\/p>\n

It affects a person’s movements, thinking ability, and mental health.<\/p>\n

Currently, no treatment can cure or stop the fatal disease.<\/p>\n

The Huntington’s Disease Society of America will host a Team Hope walk to support the families that are affected by the disease.<\/p>\n

Money raised will go toward research while spreading hope for a cure.<\/p>\n

The walk will be on September 12th at the Hopewell Park Pavilion in Upper Saucon Township, Lehigh County.<\/p>\n

It will start at 9:00 a.m. and registration is free.<\/p>\n
