From solemn ceremonies to uplifting concerts, the days ahead will offer numerous opportunities to reflect on American sacrifice and service as the region recognizes Veterans Day 2025 on Tuesday, Nov. 11<\/a>.<\/p>\n Here\u2019s a look at events scheduled in the Lehigh Valley and New Jersey\u2019s Warren County:<\/p>\n Saturday, Nov. 8<\/p>\n Warren County Veterans Recognition Ceremony<\/p>\n On Saturday, Nov. 8, at 11 a.m., Warren County will host a combined Veterans Day and Veterans Recognition Ceremony<\/a>. The ceremony will be held at the Warren County War Memorial in Belvidere. The War Memorial is located next to the Warren County Court House, 413 Second St., at the corner of Second and Mansfield streets. This combined program will feature the presentation of the Warren County Distinguished Military Service medal to veterans who served during wartime. It will also include a proclamation acknowledging National Veterans and Military Families Month, the playing of service songs, and the presentation of a Quilt of Valor. Veterans receiving the award will be provided with a seat for themselves and one guest; all other attendees are invited to bring lawn chairs.<\/p>\n Sunday, Nov. 9<\/p>\n Salute the Troops Concert<\/p>\n The Bethlehem Morning Star Rotary Club will host its 21st annual \u201cSalute the Troops\u201d concert<\/a>, featuring the renowned Allentown Band. The event is scheduled from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 9 at Northeast Middle School, 1170 Fernwood St., Bethlehem. This event will celebrate veterans and active-duty members through stirring, familiar patriotic music. The concert will raise money for Victory House of Lehigh Valley, an accredited Veteran Service Agency providing critical support to homeless veterans. Tickets are $10 (students will be $5) and will be available at the door.<\/p>\n Monday, Nov. 10<\/p>\n LVHN Veterans Day Ceremony<\/p>\n Lehigh Valley Health Network<\/a> will host a special Veterans Day ceremony to honor community members and colleagues who served in the Armed Forces. The event will take place on Monday, Nov. 10, at 11 a.m. in Educational Conference Rooms 6, 7, and 8 in the Kasych Family Pavilion at Lehigh Valley Hospital\u2013Cedar Crest in Salisbury Township. Veterans will receive special recognition. The ceremony will include music performances and a flag posting by Dieruff JROTC.<\/p>\n St. Luke\u2019s Veterans Day Recognition<\/p>\n Harry F.W. Johnson American Legion Post 379 will be leading a flag raising in front of the St. Luke\u2019s University Health Network<\/a> campus in Fountain Hill at 8 a.m. Monday, Nov. 10. The public is welcome. The flag raising will be followed by a free breakfast for veterans in the hospital cafeteria.<\/p>\n Veterans Day, Tuesday, Nov. 11<\/p>\n Finally, the official Veterans Day on Tuesday, Nov. 11 will be marked by several formal ceremonies in the Easton vicinity.<\/p>\n Easton Veterans Day Ceremony<\/p>\n The Joint Veterans Council Forks of the Delaware will hold a ceremony at 10:30 a.m. This solemn gathering is scheduled to take place in the Memorial Grove at Upper Hackett Park off Hackett Avenue.<\/p>\n Williams Township Veterans Day Ceremony<\/p>\n A short time later, Williams Township will host its own ceremony to honor veterans at 11 a.m. The event will be held at 655 Cider Press Road. <\/p>\n Wilson Borough Veterans Day Parade<\/p>\n In the afternoon on Veterans Day, the Marine Corps League and the Brown & Lynch American Legion Post No. 9 will host a parade. The event will begin at 1 p.m. The parade will step off at the Civil War cannon on South 17th and Washington streets in Wilson Borough and will conclude on Warrior Lane at Wilson Area High School.
