Have you and your kids been reading books this summer? So much great literacy-related news has been happening here in Pittsburgh all summer long, and we\u2019re excited to keep the reading going (and growing) throughout the fall.<\/p>\n
To help make that happen, we\u2019re extending the Jerome Bettis Summer Reading Challenge<\/a> to make sure kids who have been reading but didn\u2019t know about the Challenge can enter. We\u2019re also rewarding those who submit their form by the original deadline of midnight tonight (Aug. 31).<\/p>\n We made this decision because we\u2019re hearing from schools that students want more time to fill out the form<\/a> and get it submitted here<\/a>. So\u2026<\/p>\n If you get your Jerome Bettis Summer Reading Challenge form<\/a> submitted to us<\/a> by midnight tonight, you\u2019ve already earned a gift. (Be on the lookout for a surprise in the mail from Kidsburgh!)<\/p>\n And if your child still needs to read a few more books or spend a few more hours reading (or being read to), you now have until midnight on Sept. 30 to be entered in the drawing for four tickets to the Oct. 11 Steelers home game against the Indianapolis Colts.<\/p>\n
