A months-long investigation into a North Philadelphia home<\/a> has uncovered shocking, confusing and “dark” evidence<\/a>, including hundreds of thousands of photos and videos, police say.<\/p>\n

When was Eugene Horsch, Olney homeowner arrested?<\/p>\n

The broader investigation was prompted following a traffic stop in Center City on June 19.<\/p>\n

According to criminal complaint documents, a park ranger observed a vehicle, operated by Horsch, 44, parked in the area of Independence National Historical Park without a necessary police placard and next to a fire hydrant.<\/p>\n

While approaching the vehicle, the ranger heard a female passenger say something to the effect of, “you’re going to hurt me.”<\/p>\n

The ranger noticed sores, behaviors and paraphernalia associated with drug use in the vehicle, at which point he asked the man and woman for IDs.<\/p>\n

The name on the female passenger’s identification, however, belonged to a missing person reported out of Philadelphia.<\/p>\n

What was found in Eugene Horsch’s car? Eugene Horsch false IDs<\/p>\n

According to the criminal complaint, officer located the following in the vehicle and\/or on Horsch’s person:<\/p>\n

Multiple pairs of scissors<\/p>\n

Two firearms, one with an obliterated serial number<\/p>\n

White powder and white rock-like substances believed to be crack cocaine<\/p>\n

Falsified DEA identification<\/p>\n

A pair of police handcuffs<\/p>\n

Horsch was booked at the Philadelphia Federal Detention Center on charges related to the firearm and false identification possession.<\/p>\n
