A Montgomery County man faces attempted homicide and other charges in connection with a shooting Friday at a Freemansburg business in which a man was injured.<\/p>\n
The Northampton County district attorney\u2019s office said Paul R. Williams, 61, of Upper Dublin Township fired up to nine shots at the victim, who was hit once in the wrist and is recovering from his injury.<\/p>\n
According to the DA, Freemansburg police were called to a business at 431 Clearfield St. shortly after 4 p.m. Friday for a report of shots fired. Surveillance footage of the incident helped police identify the shooter. A warrant was issued for Williams\u2019 arrest and he was taken into custody early Monday at his home, the DA\u2019s office said.<\/p>\n
Williams was preliminarily arraigned on charges of attempted homicide, aggravated assault and related lesser charges. Bail was set at $1 million. He remains in Northampton County Jail.<\/p>\n
