Evil on Erie is returning to Lafayette this fall for one final fright.<\/p>\n
Homestead Resources announced this will be the final season for the volunteer-powered haunted attraction.<\/p>\n
The event transforms an old warehouse on Erie Street into a haunt, with volunteers helping build sets, plan scares and bring the attraction to life.<\/p>\n
Organizers say the haunt has also been used as a financial education program for local teens, giving them hands-on experience with managing money, building themed rooms, and designing sets.<\/p>\n
Nearly 50,000 people have visited evil on erie over the years.<\/p>\n
The final season opens in October, with the final nights scheduled for Halloween weekend.<\/p>\n
