Workers spent all morning and afternoon covering the tent poles so you can get your Italian food fix rain or shine.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Scranton Police Department posted a traffic advisory for the festivities.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\"><a data-ylk=\"slk:Pittston City to acquire Twp. land for new housing;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;\" data-yga=\"{&quot;yLinkElement&quot;:&quot;link&quot;,&quot;yLinkElementType&quot;:&quot;article_link&quot;}\" href=\"https:\/\/www.2822news.com\/news\/pittston-city-to-acquire-twp-land-for-new-housing\/?ipid=promo-link-block1\" class=\"promo-link__link\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">\u00a0Pittston City to acquire Twp. land for new housing\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">After 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Sep. 1, there will be limited lanes of travel around the square.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">At 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, Sep. 3, the 400 block of Linden Street will be closed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">By 4:00 p.m. on Friday, Sep. 4, traffic patterns downtown will change with street closures surrounding Courthouse Square.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The festivities kick off at 5 p.m. on Friday, Sep. 4.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Copyright 2026 Nexstar Media, Inc.
