(WBRE\/WYOU) \u2014 Another potentially active weather day is on tap across a good portion of our area today.<\/p>\n
More clouds than sun will win out, and it will remain quite humid. Rounds of scattered showers and storms will pass through today and through the overnight, some potentially strong to severe.<\/p>\n
Main threats include damaging winds, hail, downpours, and even perhaps a tornado or two. We are on “Weather Alert” today. A limiting factor would be a backdoor cold front moving into eastern PA, bringing cooler, more stable air. How far west that front can go is the big question.<\/p>\n
Additional scattered showers and storms will continue for Thursday, but most of the severe weather should stay south of our area. With that said, a storm or two may become stronger. It will remain very humid with highs in the mid 80s. Friday will be partly sunny with a shower or storm possible. It won’t be quite as humid, with highs near 80.<\/p>\n
Saturday and Sunday are looking drier, though a stray shower can’t be ruled out each day. Otherwise, partly sunny with highs in the mid 70s. Labor Day Monday and even Tuesday look quiet, with a mix of clouds and sun. Highs both days are in the mid 70s.\u00a0<\/p>\n
