Duquesne Light reports thousands without power in Allegheny County amid heat, potential storms<\/p>\n

\"CaitlynALLEGHENY COUNTY, Pa. \u2014<\/p>\n

Over 10,000 people in Allegheny County remain without power, as temperatures reach above 90 degrees and potential storms are expected to roll through the area on Wednesday. <\/p>\n

According to Duquesne Light Company’s website, more than 3,000 customers in Allegheny County remained without power as of 8 p.m. <\/p>\n

Many of the outages appeared to be reported in Bellevue, Avalon, Ben Avon, Emsworth, Ohio Township, Ross Township, and McCandless. Multiple other areas are included. <\/p>\n

DLC said on its website the outage was due to a substation issue. <\/p>\n

Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 has reached out to the power company for further details. <\/p>\n
