The parade was set to take place on July 3 in Philadelphia. There were parade participants from 11 different countries, two U.S. territories and all 50 states scheduled to march in the exact footsteps of the country\u2019s founding fathers.<\/p>\n<p>However, the parade was canceled due to the extreme heat. After preparing and planning for over a year, the group was disappointed.<\/p>\n<p>But the Twirlettes were given another opportunity to perform in the nation\u2019s birthplace. One week later, the group was invited to perform at the Museum of the American Revolution during its America 250 festivities.
