Thousands without power after repeated rounds of storms in south-central Pennsylvania<\/p>\n

Thousands of customers are without power after repeated rounds of thunderstorms across south-central Pennsylvania. <\/p>\n

As of 8 a.m. Thursday, nearly 6,000 customers are affected, with Lebanon and Lancaster counties reporting the most outages. <\/p>\n

Cumberland: 1 Dauphin: 754 Juniata: 93 Lancaster: 1,453 Lebanon: 1 Perry: 103 York: 3 <\/p>\n

More storms ahead <\/p>\n

Multiple rounds of thunderstorms<\/a> are expected Thursday across south-central Pennsylvania, with the first arriving in the morning and another possible during the evening. Heavy rain, flash flooding, frequent lightning and damaging wind gusts are the main threats.<\/p>\n

A few showers and thunderstorms may linger Friday, especially in the afternoon and early evening. Drier, less humid and more comfortable weather is expected for Labor Day weekend. <\/p>\n
