State Department of Transportation and township officials joined the commissioners for the ceremony. Grace Industries of Bath, Northampton County, the project\u2019s contractor, completed the job two months ahead of schedule, according to Lackawanna County officials. The project started in October. Full replacement of the bridge, which was built in 1935, cost $3,072,956. PennDOT constructed a temporary road providing access to the Elmhurst Twp. municipal offices and sewer authority building while the bridge was out.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"lazyautosizes lazyload\" alt=\"Lackwanna County Engineer Frank Summa announces the opening of the G.C.
