Rufus du Sol concert at Star Lake delayed due to storms<\/p>\n

Concertgoers at the Pavilion at Star Lake were being instructed to shelter in place as severe storms moved through Western Pennsylvania on Thursday night.<\/p>\n
The Rufus du Sol concert at the outdoor amphitheater in Burgettstown was delayed because of the severe weather.<\/p>\n
“Due to lightning in the vicinity of the venue, we are now asking fans to seek shelter,” Star Lake said on its social media<\/a>. “For those seated under the pavilion, please shelter in place. If you are on the lawn, please follow staff instructions to shelter in place in your area. If outside of the gates, return to your vehicles and remain in the parking lot until further notice.”<\/p>\n Around 9:20 p.m., the concert venue posted an update<\/a> saying that the show would resume soon.<\/p>\n “If you are already inside the venue, please safely make your way back to your seats. If you are located outside of the venue, please make your way to the gates at this time. We\u2019ll continue to keep an eye on the weather and will let you know if there are further updates,” the post said.<\/p>\n A flash flood warning from the National Weather Service was scheduled to remain in effect throughout the night and into early Friday morning for some areas.
