Josh Shapiro is touting a big investment in Pennsylvania.<\/p>\n<p>Thursday, Burlington Stores announced it is moving its corporate headquarters in Burlington, New Jersey, to Philadelphia.<\/p>\n<p>The retailer is one of the fastest-growing Fortune 500 companies in the U.S.<\/p>\n<p>Burlington says its $370 million investment will bring 2,000 jobs to the region over the next five years. It comes two days after Shapiro announced that Chobani is making a major investment in the Lehigh Valley.<\/p>\n<p>The governor says it\u2019s all contributing to economic growth in the Commonwealth.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCNBC just increased our rankings by four spots, the highest ranking for business growth in the last 15 years,\u201d Shapiro said. \u201cForbes rated us one of the best states in the country to start a business, and Moody\u2019s showed that we\u2019ve got the only growing economy in the northeastern part of the United States.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Pennsylvania is also investing $30 million to support the move.<\/p>\n<p>Burlington currently operates 1,300 stores in 47 states.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"PHILADELPHIA \u2013 Gov.
