Federal Hill Smokehouse is providing meals after hours to feed the community.<\/p>\n

On Thursday, Nov. 6 Federal Hill Smokehouse\u2019s<\/a> workers fired up the kitchen to help those in need.<\/p>\n

After the noon rush, employees cooked up more than 50 pounds of goulash, served with green beans and cottage cheese, all free for anyone struggling while waiting on SNAP benefits.<\/p>\n

According to Ryan Atzert, co-owner of Federal Hill Smokehouse they\u2019re trying to do whatever they can. He believes that if everyone pulls their weight then the entire community will be better off.<\/p>\n

Meals started going out at 4:30 p.m. and will continue until the food runs out.<\/p>\n

On Friday, Nov. 7, the team will be back at it.
