NAZARETH, Pa. – After a lopsided affair at Garnet Valley, the Nazareth football squad is preparing for a Friday night battle at Whitehall.<\/p>\n
The Blue Eagles struggled defensively in Glen Mills, falling 63-34 to the Jaguars.\u00a0<\/p>\n
It is a quick turnaround this week, meaning an oppurtunity to flip the script.<\/p>\n
“Tough one to swallow. First game of the season, you have different hopes,” senior tailback Cooper Wenrich said. “I think there was a lot of stuff that we did do right in that game. Maybe the score didn’t reflect our effort. It’s not minor things, but stuff that – it’s gonna be easy to fix. And if we fix it, I think we’re a totally different team than we were that game.”<\/p>\n
