The Allentown complex will feature up to ten advanced production lines designed to support Chobani’s rapidly expanding product portfolio beyond traditional Greek yogurt. The facility will specifically manufacture high-protein, lower-sugar ultrafiltered milk, ready-to-drink protein shakes, dairy creamers, and cold-brew coffee beverages under its La Colombe brand. The location provides significant supply-chain advantages, positioned within a 500-mile radius of approximately 40 percent of the U.S. population.

For Pennsylvania’s dairy farming community, the capital commitment provides a massive structural demand boost. The state currently ranks second in the United States in the total number of commercial dairy herds, operating over 4,300 dairy farms that have faced chronic processing capacity deficits in recent years. At full operational capacity, Chobani estimates the Allentown facility will procure more than 3 billion pounds of raw milk annually directly from local Pennsylvania dairy producers and cooperatives.

The investment forms part of an aggressive capital expansion program exceeding $4 billion across Chobani’s national production footprint, backed by sustained 20 percent annual revenue growth over the past three years. This follows earlier investments, including a $1.2 billion facility in Rome, New York, and a $500 million expansion in Twin Falls, Idaho. Under the agreement, Chobani will offer continued employment to current plant staff while co-manufacturing select beverage products for KDP during a defined operational transition period.

The Allentown complex will feature up to ten advanced production lines designed to support Chobani’s rapidly expanding product…

[10
119,121,120
post-278898","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-allentown","tag-allentown","tag-allentown-headlines","tag-allentown-news
["GET
