Residents across Western Pennsylvania pick up the pieces after storms cause trees to fall on their homes<\/p>\n

\"Carlos<\/a>MONROEVILLE, Pa. \u2014<\/p>\n

Several communities across Allegheny and Westmoreland counties felt the impacts of Thursday’s storm. There were several situations in which trees fell on homes, like in Penn Township and Monroeville. <\/p>\n

Homeowners of the house in Monroeville said it happened very fast. The tree covered the entirety of the home and even blocked the driveway. Bob Steinhaus told Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 that the municipality had to help cut off the branches. <\/p>\n

“I didn’t realize how bad the damage was on the roof until we just got here this morning. But there’s an awful lot of openings. The roof’s pretty much crushed,” Steinhaus said.<\/p>\n
