(WNYT) \u2014 The town of Bethlehem has ordered the Albany Center for Independent Living to close.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bethlehem Town Supervisor says the owners allowed the facility to become unsafe for occupation. The town\u2019s building division found structural issues, electrical issues and mold infestation among other violations.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Department of Health is managing the relocation of 45 residents into new housing. Multiple agencies are helping, including the Delmar Progress Club, which donated suitcases for every resident.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The emergency order is forcing the Albany Center for Independent Living to close.
