Presque Isle State Park has announced that the parks will continue to be closed September 4. Park officials anticipate this closure will continue until September 6.<\/p>\n
The closure follows severe storms earlier this week and because of this the entire park is without power. Park maintenance crews are continuing to clean up the area to remove several downed trees.<\/p>\n
They are preparing several areas for power pole and line repairs.<\/p>\n
The closure affects pedestrian, vehicle, bicycle access, boat beaching and mooring.<\/p>\n
At this time the Tom Ridge Environmental Center and Erie Bluff\u2019s State Park are open to the public ahead of the holiday weekend.<\/p>\n
