In the Rawlins Times today is a story from our guest reporter Richard Hodges. In Saratoga, Never Forget Park, also known as Pickett park, finally gets some grass and other amenities. It took 18 years, but the task is finally being addressed by the town.<\/p>\n
Also on the front is a story from this week’s Rawlins City Council meeting. Council heard and approved the first reading on a zoning ordinance change for the now-cleaned up Lawrence property. Two more readings will follow, but this serves as a good sign that the area can become an asset to the city.<\/p>\n

On our Opinion pages today is the monthly Managers Minute column by Rawlins City Manager Matt Hall. He speaks about the start of school and looking forward to hunting season. Today in sports, sports reporter Anden Garfield posts the Rawlins Outlaws swim results from the Dale Ross Pentathlon. The girls swim team was led by Lyberti Larsen, who place eighth overall in the competition. The team took fifth overall. Good job!<\/p>\n
