The recent heat, humidity and unsettled weather has left just in time to give the Lehigh Valley a picture-perfect Labor Day weekend.<\/p>\n
Dry, comfortable weather is expected through the holiday Monday and well into next week, according to the National Weather Service forecast.<\/p>\n
With highs ranging from the upper 70s to low 80s, the weather service is forecasting \u201cnotably less humid\u201d weather starting Saturday and continuing through next week.<\/p>\n
There is a possibility of showers Saturday evening into Sunday along the New Jersey shore, but the weather service does not anticipate showers and storms in the Lehigh Valley until Thursday, when a cold front arrives.<\/p>\n
On Labor Day, a high of 79 is expected with sunny skies and calm wind, according to the weather service forecast.<\/p>\n

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 81. Calm wind becoming north around 5 mph in the afternoon.<\/p>\n
Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 59. Calm wind.<\/p>\n

Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 56. Calm wind.<\/p>\n
Labor Day: Sunny, with a high near 79. Calm wind.<\/p>\n
Monday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 55.<\/p>\n
Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 82.<\/p>\n
