AND THE GOVERNOR WAS IN LEBANON COUNTY THIS AFTERNOON CELEBRATING THE PRESERVATION OF 650,000 ACRES OF FARMLAND. THE GOVERNOR VISITED TALL VIEW DAIRY FARM IN SOUTH ANNVILLE TOWNSHIP ALONGSIDE AG SECRETARY RUSSELL REDDING. OFFICIALS CELEBRATED NOT ONLY THE PRESERVATION OF THOSE ACRES, BUT ALSO THE PRESERVATION OF 6500 FARMS THROUGHOUT THE COMMONWEALTH. THIS IS EXTRAORDINARY. TO HAVE THIS TYPE OF LAND PRESERVED FOREVER. Shapiro visited Talview Dairy Farm in South Annville Township alongside Agriculture Secretary Russell Redding, where officials celebrated not only the preserved acres but also the preservation of 6,500 farms throughout the commonwealth.<\/p>\n
