The city council is still seeking community members to volunteer to serve on the Library Board. Interested community members can find information about applying online on the city’s facebook page or contact city hall for information about how to apply.

City council members discussed schedule and funding for the city’s Halloween events. The council approved a transfer of $300 to the Crew Public Library for Halloween candy distribution. The city will distribute hot dogs and hot chocolate at city hall from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Halloween.

Community members are invited to contribute a small item such as as photographs, newspaper clippings, or school memorabilia.
