{"id":279984,"date":"2026-09-06T00:34:17","date_gmt":"2026-09-06T00:34:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/279984\/"},"modified":"2026-09-06T00:34:17","modified_gmt":"2026-09-06T00:34:17","slug":"man-on-the-run-since-june-for-violence-assaults-arrested-at-hospital","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/279984\/","title":{"rendered":"Man on the run since June for violence assaults arrested at hospital"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A man wanted for a violent assault on two women in McKeesport was arrested Tuesday at a Pittsburgh hospital. <\/p>\n<p>Allegheny County Sheriff Kevin Kraus says his deputies have been looking for 43-year-old David Cochran of Greensburg since June.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s when he was accused of attacking a woman in a home on Sylvan Avenue in McKeesport, allegedly punching her, knocking out a tooth, trying to restrain her with electrical tape and trying to strangle her with an extension cord. <\/p>\n<p>Cochran allegedly threatened to kill another woman in the house and then fled. <\/p>\n<p>Sheriff&#8217;s detectives say Cochran was using a fake name as a patient at Allegheny General Hospital and was visiting another patient. <\/p>\n<p>He was located and charged.
