The damage from this week’s storms didn’t stop the German Festival from celebrating its 30th year on Saturday.<\/p>\n
The two-day festival kicked off Saturday at St. Nick’s Grove, where people gathered to enjoy authentic German food, music, dancing, merchandise, and plenty of beer while honoring German culture and tradition.<\/p>\n

With limited parking, P.I. Downs and Casino is offering shuttle service.<\/p>\n

Organizers were pleased with the turnout despite the challenging week. Parking is free, and admission is five dollars per person. Children 12 and under are free.<\/p>\n
