1 arrested in attempted stabbing in Duquesne Heights<\/p>\n
PITTSBURGH \u2014<\/p>\n
A man has been charged with aggravated assault after an attempted stabbing in Duquesne Heights this morning.<\/p>\n
According to the criminal complaint, police arrived at the 300 block of Sweetbriar Street at approximately 8:30 Sunday morning and found a man later identified as Charles Ross with blood on his hands and face.<\/p>\n
A female on the scene was found with minor cuts on both arms after Ross allegedly swung a knife at the victim inside the house. Ross also swung the knife at another victim but missed. <\/p>\n
According to public safety officials, Ross was believed to be under the influence of narcotics at the time of the incident.<\/p>\n
He was taken to the Allegheny County Jail after he was medically cleared at the hospital.<\/p>\n
