being honored for protecting students getting on and off the bus.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Students at Propel Montour Elementary School created a certificate for Pittsburgh Zone 6 Officer David Sadecky.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Local parents had raised concerns about a driver passing a stopped school bus, and Sadecky took action.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">They say he ticketed the driver and now sits at the intersection during bus stops to ensure the students\u2019 safety.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">\u201cThe fact that Propell Schools is taking the opportunity to honor one of our police officers for the work they enjoy doing and are committed to doing is just a day of appreciation,\u201d Pittsburgh Public Safety Director Sheldon Williams said. <\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Officer Sadecky says he is going to put the certificate at his desk.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" data-chromatic=\"ignore\" alt=\"\"
