{"id":281530,"date":"2026-09-08T15:44:09","date_gmt":"2026-09-08T15:44:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/281530\/"},"modified":"2026-09-08T15:44:09","modified_gmt":"2026-09-08T15:44:09","slug":"allentown-man-dead-after-e-scooter-crash","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/281530\/","title":{"rendered":"Allentown man dead after e-scooter crash"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A 33-year-old man died Sunday, more than a week after his electric scooter crash in Allentown, according to authorities.<\/p>\n<p>Cory Smith was pronounced dead about 10:20 p.m. Sunday at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest after a crash that happened Aug. 28, Lehigh County Coroner Daniel A.
