The event, titled \u201cSoundcheck on Wylie Avenue,\u201d will be headlined by Donnie Iris &amp; The Cruisers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">The preview performance at Citizens Live at The Wylie offers attendees an early look inside the venue before its official opening performance on Oct. 1. <\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">The preview event will run from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. In addition to Donnie Iris &amp; The Cruisers, the performance lineup includes NASH.V.ILL featuring Byron Nash, as well as the TITLE TOWN Soul &amp; Funk Party with J. Malls, Gordy G and Buscrates.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Designed with a 4,000-person capacity, Citizens Live at The Wylie drew inspiration from the musical history of Wylie Avenue and the surrounding Hill District. The venue was built to celebrate the neighborhood\u2019s culture while establishing a new location for live performances in Pittsburgh. <\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">\u201cPlaying for Pittsburgh has always meant a lot to me. The fans here bring so much energy and it\u2019s a thrill to be part of opening a brand-new venue,\u201d Iris said. \u201cTo do it with the Cruisers and support the important work of the August Wilson Cultural Center makes the night even more special. We\u2019re ready to have a great time and bring some rock \u2018n\u2019 roll to the Hill.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Tickets cost $10 and will go on sale Wednesday, Sept. 9, at 12 p.m. on citizensliveatthewylie.com.
