It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. Mark Edward Wald Dinner, 75, on September 6, 2026.<\/p>\n
\nBorn on June 27, 1951, in Scranton, he was the son of the late Marvine and Gloria Dinner. Mark attended Penn State University, the University of Pittsburgh School of Dentistry, where he received top honors, and the University at Buffalo Orthodontic Program. Mark lived a life defined by compassion and generosity. While he served his community as an orthodontist in Hazleton for 43 years, his true calling was simply caring for people. Mark offered warmth and kindness to everyone who crossed his path, and his quick wit and wisdom will be part of our lives forever.<\/p>\n
\nMark\u2019s greatest joy was his family. He shared 49 years of love with his wife, Andrea. His legacy lives on through David and wife, Elizabeth; Steven and wife, Maria; grandchildren, Graham, Colette, and Jameson; brother, Gary and wife, Sherry; brotherin-law, Stewart Auyash; niece, Stephanie; and nephew, Sean, as well as the beautiful smiles of the patients he cared for.<\/p>\n
\nMark was a devoted member of Beth Israel Temple.<\/p>\n
\nA service will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Fierro Funeral Service, 26 West Second Street, Hazleton, PA 18201.
