The city started collecting an extra half percent on every property sale this year. Six months in, that is more than $1 million sitting in a new Housing Trust Fund, and a plan to buy three blighted homes, fix them and sell them to first-time buyers.<\/p>\n

Then council asked who should qualify. That question is harder than it sounds, and the answer decides who this money actually helps.<\/p>\n

Bethlehem’s new superintendent, live and taking questions
