An Erie County man bought a lucky scratch-off ticket for a huge lottery win.<\/p>\n

The Pennsylvania Lottery said a winning ticket in the $3,000,000 Golden Ticket game<\/a> was sold at a Country Fair convenience store in Union City.<\/p>\n The scratch-off game costs $30 for a ticket. Players can win up to $3 million in prize money.<\/p>\n The winner, Dave Sabol Jr., 57, told the lottery<\/a> that he spoke with a financial planner and decided it was time to retire after having worked 35 years at a heavy industrial machine shop.<\/p>\n Looking for more news in your area | Subscribe to the WTAE YouTube Channel<\/a><\/p>\n With their winnings, Sabol and his wife intend to build their dream home and travel across the country.<\/p>\n Lottery officials celebrated Sabol with a ceremonial check presentation Wednesday at the Pennsylvania Lottery office in Erie.<\/p>\n Country Fair is also a winner.
