Shane and Hannah Burcaw, who have built a large social media following as disability advocates, announced Tuesday that they are expecting a baby.<\/p>\n
The couple are known as \u201cSquirmy and Grubs\u201d on social media, where they share Shane\u2019s muscular atrophy experiences.<\/p>\n
They announced on Facebook<\/a> and other platforms that Hannah Burcaw is 20 weeks pregnant, and they are expecting their first child in January.<\/p>\n Shane Burcaw, a Lehigh Valley native, said he will be starting a blog to share their journey as parents.<\/p>\n \u201cLife is moving at a million miles an hour and we\u2019re having a baby,\u201d Shane said in a video announcing the pregnancy. \u201cLife is good. We are so in love.\u201d<\/p>\n Shane Burcaw, formerly of Bethlehem, has spinal muscular atrophy, uses a wheelchair for mobility and requires help with most activities, the couple wrote on their blog<\/a>.
