ALLENTOWN, Pa. – So long, Coca-Cola Park. The Lehigh Valley IronPigs’ home will soon have a new name.<\/p>\n

The iconic Allentown ballpark will be called Jefferson Park, announced Jefferson Health’s CEO Joseph Cacchione at a\u00a0news conference Thursday.<\/p>\n
Jefferson Health will be the team’s new partner.<\/p>\n
The renaming will take effect\u00a0in the 2027 season, the IronPigs said in a news release.<\/p>\n
\u201cJefferson is proud to stand alongside the IronPigs in a partnership that reflects our commitment to strengthen the communities in which we serve,\u201d said Cacchione.<\/p>\n
\u201cAs with the upcoming Jefferson Lehigh Valley Classic, we are committed to making a long-term positive impact on the Lehigh Valley and the surrounding areas.\u201d<\/p>\n
He said he is grateful to the team and the dedicated staff who made the franchise a success.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis initiative expands the long-standing relationship between the IronPigs and Lehigh Valley Health Network, which spans nearly 20 seasons,\u201d said Kurt Landes, IronPigs president and general manager, noting that Coca-Cola will remain a valued IronPigs partner and continue as the team\u2019s exclusive beverage provider.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe had a strategic and deliberate process to ensure we found an organization that shares our vision, values our fans and shares our commitment to the Lehigh Valley. The partnership will extend beyond the ballpark into the community through a variety of initiatives involving both IronPigs Charities and other key partners.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cJefferson Park will stand as a testament to our commitment to fans of the IronPigs and to the Lehigh Valley region as a whole,\u201d said Nick Ragone, executive vice president and chief marketing officer at Jefferson.<\/p>\n
\u201cBaseball is America\u2019s pastime and we cannot think of a better way to highlight that than by forging a solid relationship with the Phillies Triple-A franchise, joining forces to make them the best they can be.\u201d<\/p>\n
The team said additional details and enhancements will be finalized and shared in the coming months.<\/p>\n
The Lehigh Valley IronPigs and ABARTA Coca-Cola Beverages held a joint news conference earlier this year to announce that the team will be concluding its naming rights partnership for Coca-Cola Park in September 2027.<\/p>\n
Officials said the current agreement is set to come to its planned completion at that time.<\/p>\n
For 20 years, ABARTA Coca-Cola Beverages has served as the stadium\u2019s naming rights partner, and by conclusion of the agreement, the team will have drawn over 11 million fans to Coca-Cola Park for IronPigs games plus hundreds of thousands more for other events.<\/p>\n
ABARTA Coca-Cola Beverages says it will remain a founding partner of the organization and an active partner of the IronPigs, continuing its involvement in ballpark initiatives and IronPigs charitable events.<\/p>\n
