<\/a>PITTSBURGH \u2014<\/p>\nThursday is an Impact Day in Western Pennsylvania. More rain will arrive in the evening, with greater impacts southeast of Pittsburgh. <\/p>\n
Impact Day: Rain returns late-day<\/p>\n
Rain will filter back in closer to the evening commute. The most widespread rain, which will be light for most areas, continues through 11 p.m.<\/p>\n
Areas south and east of Pittsburgh will likely deal with embedded downpours and rumbles of thunder. The flooding risk is higher for this part of the region.<\/p>\n
All of the wet weather will end after midnight.<\/p>\n

Drying out, turning more comfortable Friday<\/p>\n
More fog will form ahead of the Friday morning commute. Conditions will improve throughout the day with the return of sunshine and dropping humidity. Temperatures will peak in the mid-to-upper 70s. <\/p>\n
It will be a pleasant Friday night for high school football games with temperatures cooling through the 70s.<\/p>\n

The sky will brighten throughout the day over the Flight 93 National Memorial Friday. <\/p>\n
A mostly dry weekend<\/p>\n
The only bump in the road for the weekend is the return of a few rain showers Saturday afternoon. The timing could line up with kickoff for the Pitt-UCF football game. Otherwise, the majority of the weekend will be dry.<\/p>\n
The Steelers will open the season with partly cloudy skies and a temperature around 80 degrees for kickoff at Acrisure Stadium on Sunday.<\/p>\n
